David Theis of Bowling Green was recently elected President of the Student Government Association (SGA) at Bowling Green Technical College (BGTC).
Mr. Theis is a 1990 graduate of Bowling Green High School and is currently pursuing an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Information Technology/Network Administration at BGTC.
Mr. Theis is also serving as President for the Colleges Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and was named President of Leadership for the Kentucky Region during Phi Theta Kappa’s international convention in Nashville in April.
In addition, Mr. Theis is a long time member of the Kiwanis Club in Bowling Green having served two years on the Board of Directors and is currently serving as the editor for the club, publishing their weekly newsletter and e-mail communications to the club membership. He has recently been elected to serve as the Kiwanis Vice-President and will assume the duties of President-Elect for 2013-2014 and President for 2014-2015.
As President of the BGTC Student Government Association, Mr. Theis will also serve as the student representative on the Bowling Green Technical College Board of Directors.
