Work activities in computerized manufacturing and machining involve applying knowledge of machine capabilities, the properties of materials, and shop practices to set-up and operate various machines. The skills needed to position work pieces, adjust machines, and verify the accuracy of machine functions and finish products are taught by classroom instruction, demonstaration, and hands on experience.

Associate in Applied Science (AAS)

  • Computerized Manufacturing and Machining Technology (65-68 credit hours)

Certificates

  • Exploratory Machining (13 credit hours)
  • Machine Operator I (18 credit hours)
  • Machine Operator II (26-29 credit hours)

Diploma

  • CNC Machinist (56-59 credit hours)

Length of Program

You can earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
