The Student Success Center at Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (formerly Bowling Green Technical College) offers COMPASS placement exams for incoming students and STEP tests for technical course credit.
The Success Center office hours are 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All exams are given by appointment only and require the student to bring a valid state or school issued photo ID.
For additional information about preparing for and scheduling the COMPASS test, please read the COMPASS Questions & Answers sheet.To request a STEP exam, please download and print the STEP exam application. Complete the application, obtain all necessary signatures, and then submit it to the Success Center located in Building A, Room 29 on the main campus.
