SKYCTC, Kentucky Career Center to host training

The Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College’s Franklin Simpson Center is collaborating with the Kentucky Career Center to train candidates in the Certified Production Technician certification, according to a news release from the Barren River Area Development District.

SOUTHCENTRAL KENTUCKY COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE TO HOST THE FAMILY, COMMUNITY, AND CAREER LEADERS OF AMERICA DISTRICT STAR EVENTS COMPETITIONS

Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College (SKYCTC) is excited to announce that they will host the Family, Community, and Career Leaders of America (FCCLA) District Star Events Competition on Friday, January 30, 2015. Over 200 students from 14 area schools will be competing in 19 different events. The opening ceremony is at 8:30 on the Main Campus, and competitions begin at 9:30.

Former tech college innovator sets up scholarship

By CHARLES A. MASON- the Daily News - SKYCTC announced Tuesday that the Donald R. Miller Endowed Scholarship has been established in the amount of $20,000. The endowment's interest will fund scholarship money for SKYCTC students.
